VIP is proud to be one of the only locations in Southern California to offer the Lokomat by Hocoma to patients.  This piece of equipment is the most advanced technology in gait training and is by far our patients favorite thing to do at VIP!  

It offers customized, consistent therapy with an exoskeleton system that can be individually adjusted for each patient.  Patients at any level can get the benefits of being upright and walking.  Patients find that while the Lokomat is great for gait training, it also increases circulation, reduces tightness and strengthens muscles.

A few months ago our VIP Staff were given the opportunity to have a trial period with the Rifton TRAM and they quickly found that it was a huge benefit to many of our patients.  You may remember this video of our President, David, walking with the TRAM during our trial too.

The TRAM is strong enough to help lift patients from a seated position to a stand and the wide frame is great for individuals in the early phases of gait training. 

Mike and Beth Charbonnet saw the amazing work being done with the TRAM and generously donated funds to purchase this equipment.  VIP will have a TRAM available for patients full time.
