 VIP would like to welcome our newest patient to join the VIP Scholarship Program, Kenton!
Kenton was in a motorcycle accident about a year ago that caused traumatic brain injury and multiple other injuries. Doctors were unsure if he would make it through the initial period after the accident, but Kenton is a fighter! He now has the goal to walk and works very hard everyday. Kenton served as a Marine Sniper prior to his injury and we are thankful for his service to our country and honored to be able to aide him in his recovery. VIP's lead Physical Therapist, Melanie, had the opportunity to shoot a promotional video for LifeWalker at VIP yesterday! LifeWalker has created a line of walkers that allow users to stand upright and supported. VIP uses the LifeWalker for many of our patients and finds it a very helpful tool during therapy. We are excited to partner with this company and the work they are doing to assist mobility! Awesome job Melanie! |
