VIP is full of patients with amazing testimonies. One patient in particular, Dennis Magnuson, left a legacy at VIP that will live on even after his passing. We are honored to welcome Malachi to the VIP family! He joined VIP after being connected by the Magnuson Family and his family are the recipients of therapy fund which were generously donated to Denny’s therapy and in memory of this great man! Aloha

 VIP is proud to welcome Vanessa to the VIP Scholarship Program!
Vanessa has already been hard at work ta VIP! She suffered a spinal cord injury when she was 5 years old and is now senior in high school. She is secretary of her senior class, enjoys going to adaptive camps, and is working hard to get stronger and regain function! Like many of us, Vanessa says she just feels so much better when she gets to exercise, so we are glad to have her at VIP!!! Keep up the amazing work! Alex suffered a Spinal Cord Injury and is looking forward to working hard at VIP to become more independent! Alex comes from a military family and enjoys being outdoors. Adam suffered a spinal cord injury in a construction accident several years ago and is determined to gain all he can back! Adam is also looking forward to getting on the rock wall at VIP! He is a great example of a never stop attitude and we are proud to have him as part of the VIP family! Adam's scholarship was made possible through various donors to the VIP Scholarship Program!  VIP is proud to award a scholarship to Shawn, a Navy Veteran, who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury.
Shawn has always been a motivated, energetic person and is working to regain motor skills at VIP NeuroRehab. This scholarship will allow him to receive therapy more therapy and continue improving! Thank you to the Cushman Foundation for making this scholarship possible and supporting our military and veteran patients at VIP! He suffered a stroke, due to a snowboarding accident, and has been determined to recover as much function as possible. Dan and his wife also run a consulting company and work hard to support their family. We are honored to have Dan and his family as part of the VIP Family! Dan's scholarship was made possible by the Cushman Foundation who generously supports military patients in the VIP Scholarship Program.  VIP is proud to announce we have received $10,000 in support from the Cushman Foundation for the 4th year in a row to our VIP Scholarship Program! Since 2015, grants from the Cushman Foundation have supplied therapy for 13 individuals at VIP - what an amazing contribution they have made to our VIP family!
The Cushman Foundation has generously supplied this 2019 grant to specifically scholarship military, veterans and their families. VIP is honored to be able to better serve this population through the support of the Cushman Foundation. Sullivan served in the Navy for 23 years and continued working as a federal employee for 19 years. He and his wife have been married for 40 years!
