VIP is honored to award a VIP Scholarship to Erik, an active duty Chief Petty Officer in the Navy.
Erik suffered a mid-thoracic spinal cord injury in a car accident on September 14, 2015. He has come to VIP to build muscle below his level of injury and really push himself to gain all the function he can. Erik has served our country for 19 years and plans to retire after 20 years of service. His two year old daughter is the love of his life and he enjoys the Denver Broncos, Brazilian Jujitsu and collecting comic books. Erik works extremely hard every therapy session and we are honored to have him! Thank you for your service Erik! If you are interested in supporting our injured military and veterans, please visit the VIP Scholarship Program page for additional details.

VIP is proud to report that we have received a $4,000 grant from the Sundt Foundation to support the VIP Scholarship Program. With this generous grant, VIP will be able to give another 40 hours of free therapy through our scholarship program! Sundt has been dedicated to improving the communities where it operates. In 1999, Sundt expanded this effort by creating the Sundt Foundation, a separate non-profit organization focused on the needs of disadvantaged children and adults. The Foundation receives most of its funding through employee contributions, which are matched by the company. The Foundation also supports volunteer efforts by employees to collect food for disadvantaged families, repair homes, and raise money through fundraising events. To date, they have provided over $7.7 million in aid to community organizations in Arizona, California, and Texas. We hope you enjoy the video and will join us on October 12th to support VIP! Carol was one of VIP's first patients and we are proud to have her as part of the VIP family! This month, the VIP Scholarship Program has awarded Carol two months of free therapy. We are pleased to be able to assist her not only physically, but financially as well after so many years of hard work and fundraising on her part! Carol was born with Cerebral Palsy and has had difficulty moving all her life. She found VIP in 2011 and through therapy has significantly increased her range of motion and overall health. She sees the huge impact that physical therapy has on her daily life and makes it a priority every week. Keep up the hard work Carol! We are all very proud of you!
